TuviPARENT COMPANION

Privacy Policy

The records you keep in Tuvi are about your child. That is why we state clearly what data we process and why, where we store it, and how you can delete it.

1. Data controller

The data controller for the personal data processed in this app is Unik Danışmanlık A.Ş. (product brand: Tuvi).

2. What data we process

Account data. Your email address and your authentication details.

Child profile. Your child's name (you can use a nickname), date of birth, and the descriptive information you enter.

What you tell us. Spoken or written entries, their transcribed text, and the structured fields extracted from that text (area, skill, trigger, approach that worked, etc.).

The audio recording itself is not stored. What you say into the microphone is sent to a speech recognition service to be transcribed and is discarded once transcription is complete; what is kept on our servers is the transcribed text, not the audio itself.

Documents. Reports, prescriptions and similar files (images or PDF) that you choose to upload are stored linked to your account.

Photos and videos you attach to moments. Photos and videos you choose to attach to an entry (at most three per entry, videos at most 30 seconds) may contain images of your child. These files are stored only linked to your account; only you and the people you share your child's records with can see them. They are not sent to AI or any other service for processing. When an entry is deleted, it is removed from the lists; when you delete your account or your child's profile, the files are permanently deleted.

Health-related entries. The app may hold medication and supplement names, dose and usage tracking, a list of doctors/specialists, appointment dates, a statement of diagnosis, crisis/seizure records, and sleep and feeding markers. These may be considered special categories of personal data within the meaning of KVKK (Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law) and are processed only with your explicit consent.

Subscription data. When you purchase an in-app subscription, the status of your subscription, its start/end date and the plan you chose are processed. We do not see your card details — payment is made entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play; we only receive information on whether your subscription is valid.

Technical data. Device/session information and error logs needed for the app to work.

We do not use analytics or crash reporting. The app contains no third-party tool that collects analytics, tracking or advertising identifiers.

3. Why we process it

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

4. Legal basis

Account and technical data are processed for the establishment and performance of the contract and on the basis of legitimate interest; health-related entries and data about your child are processed on the basis of explicit consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out up to that point.

5. Who it is shared with

We share your data with the infrastructure providers needed for the service to work:

These providers' servers may be located abroad; in that case your data is transferred abroad, and the transfer is based on your explicit consent.

6. How long we keep it

Your records are kept until you delete them or close your account. When you close your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days; complete removal from backups takes at most 90 days.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to object to processing, and to claim compensation for damages. You can delete your records one by one within the app, and you can also permanently delete your account yourself via Settings › Delete account — you don't need to write to us for this. If you prefer, you can also make a request at destek@mitrua.com.

8. Data about children

Tuvi is designed for parents; its user is not a child. The information kept in the app is about your child, and you enter it in your capacity as parent/guardian. You don't have to enter your child's name — you can use a nickname.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the person signed in to your account. Even so, we know no system is 100% secure; if a security incident occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within the time required by law.

10. Changes

If we update this text, we will notify you within the app. The effective date is shown below.
